Lloyd Vorderstrasse & Len Crowley
June 21 @ 6:30 am - 8:00 am
The Bergen County Chapter of the New Canaan Society (NCS) will meet on Friday, June 21, 2019. Lloyd Vorderstrasse will lead our Energy Group discussions! Please join us at the Brick House restaurant in Wyckoff (179 Godwin Ave, directions link below) at 6:30 a.m. for a continental breakfast. We’ll have you on your way by approximately 8 a.m.
Lloyd is a native Nebraskan, and a Christ-follower since 1980. He is a U.S. Army veteran, as well as a licensed Mort and Tennon carpenter.
Lloyd is a Germany seminary graduate and bilingual in German and English – a skill he’s made use of serving as a pastor for 7 years in Germany and 23 and counting in Midland Park. In addition, Lloyd is desktop publisher for Crisscross Youth Magazine and producer of the Monday Motivational Minute Ministry for social media.
Married 33 years, Lloyd is the father of 3 children and grandfather of 2. Fun fact: he is an FAA-licensed commercial Quadcopter pilot!
Len Crowley, founder of Forgiven Communities, will offer a preview of the 2019 NCS Metro New York Retreat! We have a powerful weekend planned around the theme of reconciliation, entitled “Called to Forgive.”
Len currently serves in the dual roles as the Residency Director for Strategic Renewal and The 6:4 Fellowship as well as Director of Urban Initiatives for the Leadership Institute For Entrepreneurs (LIFE).
During his nearly 40 years of Christian ministry, Len has been the lead pastor of four churches, a Bible teacher, board member, and ministry director. He also co-founded Whole in One (designing multi-ethnic collaborations), has led PLI Global (worldwide, character-based leadership training), helped direct Counsel & Capital (a non-profit investment bank), and taught with Peacemaker Ministries and as a National Instructor with Walk Thru the Bible.
Len has been married to Linda for 39 years. They reside in Monument, CO and have two children and 3 grandchildren. Meghan lives in Detroit with church planter husband, Kevin and three daughters (5, 8, 10). Evan and his wife, Bronwen, live in Split, Croatia and are missionaries with Josiah Venture.
