Perry Fewell is the Defensive Coordinator of the New York Giants. His defense was at its best in the Giant’s 2011 postseason run that was capped by a 21-17 victory over New England in Super Bowl XLVI.
Perry is a 27-year coaching veteran who is in his 15th season as an NFL coach. He joined the Giants after serving as interim head coach of the Buffalo Bills in January 2012, a position he assumed with 7 regular season games left in 2009. Previously, Perry served as the Bill’s defensive coordinator from 2006 to 2009, as defensive back coach with Chicago from 2004-2005 and as secondary coach with the St. Louis Rams in 2003 and 2004. He entered the NFL as the defensive backs coach for Coach Tom Coughlin and the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1998, following a 13-year collegiate coaching career at the University of North Carolina, Army, Kent State and Vanderbilt.
