Scott Coppola has been married to Kristen for 20 years and they have 4 children. Their family motto is “Defenders of the Defenseless” and this is manifested in their passion to help special needs children find forever families.
Initially God called them to adopt two children that are Down syndrome. Joshua and Taylor joined their family in 2004 and 2007 and have been little brother and sister to Lauren and Justin since then. After the sale of a family business in 2007 the “C6 Fund” was set up to offset the cost of adoption for families that want to bring home their special needs child.
Since 2010 Scott has been employed at Bethany Christian Services as a regional development manager focusing on raising money to help fund special needs adoptions. In 2013 Scott partnered with a gentlemen in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and founded Good Stuff Thrift. To date the thrift stores have generated over 150K for charities mainly that deal with vulnerable children and employ a few adults that have some intellectual challenges.
