Our next NCS Denver Monthly Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 10th @ 7:00 AM at the Terrace Tower II Building in DTC, in the Theater Room on the Main Floor. Please park on left side entry of the parking garage and if you’re stopped, please tell them you’re there for a short meeting that will conclude by 8:30 AM.
We will be having a special breakfast meeting led by James Anderson, President of New Canaan Society.
James will lead a Q&A discussion with four Chief Executives on the specific topic of living out your faith in the work place while being strong and courageous (Joshua 1:9) as a Christian business leader.

Matt Brady, Chief Executive Officer of AbsenceSoft
Highly accomplished senior executive with deep expertise in business and technology, including product development leadership and P&L responsibility. Has proven successes in strategy, marketing, operations and general management. Responsible for growth and overall success of the company. Oversees all aspects of the business, including marketing and sales, product development, finance and operations. Defines the culture and sets partnership strategies for the company. Member of AbsenceSoft Board. BS Technology and MBA Innovation.
As CEO, Kent is responsible for maintaining BluSky’s history of 96 Proof customer service, its award-winning status as one of the Best Places to Work, and growing the company. Kent’s business experience has been broad and varied. For much of his career, Kent has been in a corporate finance role, which includes holding multiple Chief Financial Officer positions. Many of his finance roles included heavy operational experience, and Kent has had direct management responsibility for manufacturing, supply chain, business development, information technology, and human resources. Kent has operated with companies in all stages, from start-up operations to Fortune 500 firms, and has had two rotations internationally spanning five years in Europe and Asia. He began his career as a CPA with Deloitte & Touche in public accounting.
Bryan Ritz, Chief Investment Officer of Sturm Group
Mr. Ritz is the Chief Investment Officer of Sturm Group, LLC. From 1998 to 2018 he was a Managing Director of the Anschutz Investment Company and oversaw the Company’s capital markets group including the oversight of the trading and operations divisions. From 1992 to 1998 Mr. Ritz was with ICON Advisers, Inc. where he began as a securities analyst and became a portfolio manager and member of the Investment Committee for the ICON Family of Sector Funds.
Larry Smith, Co-Founder of Omni Holdings & Former CEO of Catholic Charities
Larry has experience in business development, new market development, sales and distribution in traditional and new media, internet-based companies and consumer electronics on both a national and international basis. Larry has participated in startups, turnarounds and business conversions. He has also spent a significant amount of time in the non-profit space, leading Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Denver for over five years. As the managing partner at Omni Holdings Larry will use his diverse and creative business background to ensure a successful operation for the import/export of precious cargo. Larry will participate directly with clients to ensure the proper development of their international endeavors.
