9/25/26 Chapter Friday with Irenee May (IN-PERSON and Virtual)
On September 25, the brudders of NCS New Canaan gather as a community of men for some fellowship and fun. We will welcome brudder Irenee May, who has spent 42 years in financial services industry as a Managing Director at JP Morgan, Royal Bank of Scotland and most recently Gray Oak, an investment firm in Greenwich.
- Breakfast begins at 6:30am.
- Meeting begins promptly at 7:00am and will conclude no later than 8:30am.
- Cover charge- $20. First-timers are FREE, and your breakfast is FREE if you bring a first-timer (one bringer per first-timer)
- As with all NCS events, attendance represents a commitment to honor our gatherings as a “safe place”–“everything said here stays here”. (It goes without saying that no cameras or recording devices are permitted.)

Irenee May has spent 42 years in financial services industry as a Managing Director at JP Morgan, Royal Bank of Scotland and most recently Gray Oak, an investment firm in Greenwich.
Irenee has held various positions including regional and global responsibilities in, trading, sales, in FX, rates, equities and commodities, liquidity management, capital raising, structured debt, and relationship management. In addition to living and working in NY and Connecticut, his career included five years in Hong Kong and four years in London.
Born in Kentucky, raised in West Virginia, California, Delaware, his parents moved ten times in their first 15 years of marriage. He went to high school in Massachusetts, college in Virginia and returned to Delaware to work in politics for 4 years. Concluding that politics is better as an “avocation” than a “vocation”, he applied to business school. Following graduate school, he headed to New York for a “2-3 year stint in banking”.
Locally, Irenee attends Trinity Church in Greenwich. He is a former elder, prayer minister and active in the mens’ groups. In addition, Irenee is currently involved in prison ministry through NCS Outside here in CT, and as a board member with Prison Fellowship Ministries which is present in over 1200 prisons, in cooperation with more than 5000 churches in all 50 states touching as many as 356k prisoners every year, as well as more than 275k children through their Angel Tree programs.
Irenee is married to Judy and they share four children and four grandchildren.
