Bob Niedermeier serves as CEO of five family businesses in the paper packaging industry, overseeing three production facilities and 167 employees who design, sell, produce, and ship products both in the New England / Tri-state area and other parts of the United States. He has served and serves on numerous boards within the civic and church community, including currently as Executive Director of Urban Impact and Board Chairman of Elevate Bridgeport, both non-profits serving youth in Bridgeport, CT.
2006 was a pivotal year as Bob found his faith in Jesus, which changed the trajectory and purpose of his life forever.
In 2008, Bob and two other men began Urban Impact (www.urbanimpactct.org), having been inspired by serving on a Black Rock Church mission trip to New Orleans. Urban Impact serves the P.T. Barnum community, one of the most impoverished areas within Bridgeport, CT, by offering Christian mentoring and educational programs that develop lifelong relationships through the living out of one’s faith. Serving as Executive Director, Bob is able to grow alongside not only the volunteers but also the students he and his wife Victoria serve in the High School ministry.
In 2019, Bob joined with other local leaders to form Elevate Bridgeport (www.elevatebridgeport.org), which is aimed at addressing specifically the educational deficiency within the Bridgeport Educational System. The Elevate model involves year-round programming, including accredited high school and junior high classes in 13 character qualities and life skills, mentoring, outdoor adventure programs, and college and career preparation. He currently serves as Board Chairman. Elevate Bridgeport is beginning live classes at The Bridge Academy, a public charter school in Bridgeport, in January of 2022.
Bob remarried in 2012 to Victoria Vitale and lives in Trumbull, CT. Bob loves boating, traveling, reading, and building things in his garage. His latest pursuit is attending seminary online pursuing his M.Div. in Pastoral Counseling.
