D. Duane Litfin is now serving in his tenth year as Wheaton College’s seventh president. He holds an undergraduate degree in biblical studies and a master’s degree in theology. His two doctorates are from Purdue University (Ph.D., Communication) and Oxford University (D.Phil., New Testament). He came to Wheaton from Memphis, TN where he served the First Evangelical Church as Senior Pastor. Prior to that he was an Associate Professor at Dallas Theological Seminary. He also taught at Purdue University and Indiana University. Dr. Litfin is the author of several books and his writings have appeared in numerous journals and periodicals. He and his wife, Sherri, have two married sons and a married daughter.
