Mark Cress is the founder and President of Corporate Chaplains of America, Inc. (CCA). Now in its 18th year and growing internationally, CCA has chaplains serving nearly 70,000 employees in 43 states, 800 business locations, 350 U.S. cities and 4 countries. The organization’s mission is “to build caring relationships with the hope of gaining permission to share the life changing Good News of Jesus Christ in a non-threatening manner.” Since inception CCA chaplains have been blessed to lead nearly 27,000 employees or their family members to an abiding relationship with Christ.
Mark holds a Doctorate in Business Ethics and Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston, a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, and business degrees from Radford University. Following college he served with the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation and also enjoyed a career as an entrepreneur and business owner. One of his businesses was recognized by Inc. Magazine as the 137th fastest growing company in America. He divested his business interest in 1993 and moved his family to Wake Forest to enroll at Southeastern. During his time in seminary, God empowered him with the organizational plan that became Corporate Chaplains of America.

Mark has authored seven books, including the bestseller The Third Awakening and most recently, 100 Truths About The King of the Universe, both published by Lanphier Press.
