Mark Gordon Fee

June 18, 2019 by NCS New Canaan

Dr. Mark Gordon Fee, an engaging speaker and teacher, is known for his warm personality, fun and passionate teaching style, and gifted ability to make Scripture come alive. A dynamic worship leader and songwriter, Mark has also been playing piano, singing, and writing for most of his life. He excels in drawing people into a deep and intimate connection with the Lord through a dynamic flow of hymns, choruses, and Scripture.

Mark received a BA in Christian Education with a minor in music performance from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL. He continued his education at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, MA, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. In 2018, he earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, CA. Mark is the son of Dr. Gordon Fee, a highly-esteemed Biblical scholar who’s written numerous commentaries and whose insights and teachings have profoundly influenced Mark’s ministry.

From 1988-2005, Mark served as the senior pastor of the Vineyard Metronorth church in Melrose, Ma. During his tenure he developed several programs to help his people to personally and tangibly experience God’s love and to begin to remove the various relational, emotional and mental barriers that interfered with that experience. In 2006, he founded “First Loved Ministries” in order to share these programs with the church at large. He also produced a music CD entitled Rejoice Over You that invites the listener to hear God’s words of love spoken and sung to them. He also produced a CD entitled Love Verses that invites the listener to hear God’s Word spoken in a variety of ways, with a music background.

Mark and his wife Robin have five adult children and live in Danvers, MA.
