In May of 2017, Mike formally launched a 501(c)(3) His Name Is JOHN as a platform to more broadly and deeply share his inspirational life-story about his relationship with his homeless father. Prior to HNIJ, Michael worked seven years for various Christian ministries in holistic (poverty) development, disciple making and evangelism. He spent much of this time traveling overseas learning “hands on” about extreme poverty, discipleship and leadership. Prior to this, he spent 19 years serving various investors in senior sales and sales management roles, the majority of the time with Fidelity Investments and Charles Schwab & Co., respectively.Michael earned an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut and B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a part-time M.Div. student at Gordon-Conwell Seminary in Boston with a special love for workplace leadership issues.
Mike is a West Hartford native residing with his wife and three daughters in the greater Hartford suburbs.
