Thomas Mallon

November 9, 2022 by NCS New Canaan

Thomas Mallon is a co-founder and General Partner of Perpetuate Capital, LLC, which is a fund dedicated to helping business owners structure and finance a sale of their business in a way that perpetuates its legacy and the future of its employees.

Inspired by Mr. Mallon’s own experience in exploring ways to sell his business while preserving its unique culture, Perpetuate Capital provides succession and growth capital to small and medium-sized businesses, primarily through ESOP transactions, in order to facilitate an exit alternative for owners other than sale to a private equity or strategic buyer.

Mr. Mallon is also the co-founder and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Regent Surgical Health, and formerly served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mallon has significant experience in venture capital funds, real estate and turnarounds.

Mr. Mallon earned a Bachelor of Art from Denison University and his Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.

Tom is married to Margaret Mary, celebrating 40 years of marriage.  They raised three children in Chicago where Tom served as elder, trustee and mission chair at Christ Church of Oak Brook.  Tom and Margaret currently reside in Incline Village on Lake Tahoe.
