Yeathus ‘Yea’ Johnson has served as a church planter, pastor, denominational leader, and business owner, bringing more than 25 years of experience in developing diverse leaders and churches across 26 cultures. His work has primarily focused on urban communities throughout the Greater NYC and Metro Atlanta areas. He is certified to train and coach in Emotional and Relational Intelligence using the Strengths Deployment Inventory (SDI 2.0). He is also a certified leadership and executive coach and an International trainer in Cultural Intelligence, serving organizations around the world. Yeathus holds a B.S. in Accounting from South Carolina State University and a Master’s in Urban Ministry from Alliance University. He is currently ABD (All But Dissertation) and prayerfully working toward completing his doctorate in Global Leadership in 2026. His organizational and project management foundation was built during a decade-long career as a product manager in Information Technology with United Parcel Service.
A proud military veteran, Yeathus served four years in the U.S. Army. He is also the president of Chrysalis Pathway Solutions, the organization he founded in 2020. The name Chrysalis reflects the transformative journey from struggle to significant growth. After walking through a season marked by divorce, the loss of livelihood, and a period of depression, Yeathus embraced daily disciplines of spiritual formation, physical fitness, emotional and relational intelligence, soul awareness, and biblical neurolinguistic programming. From this deeply personal chrysalis experience—marked by spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, and relational renewal—Chrysalis Pathway Solutions was reborn in 2025. Today, the organization helps leaders and teams build pathways toward transformational growth in all dimensions of well-being. Yeathus is currently writing his first book, Habits for Flourishing, built on the principle that, “Survival habits keep you functional. Flourishing habits make you whole.”
